OCCAR’s U212 NFS programme advances as lithium battery system passes Critical Design Review

The OCCAR U212 Near Future Submarine (NFS) Programme reached a critical milestone on 7 October 2025 with the successful closure of the Critical Design Review (CDR) for its lithium-based Propulsion Battery System.
