
Perth Startup’s AI ‘Brain for Boats’ Gets AUKUS Rollout Clearance – The Defense Post
Australia has granted license-free export status to Perth-based startup Greenroom Robotics for the distribution of its AI-enabled autonomous vessel software in support of the AUKUS program. AUKUS is a trilateral defense pact among Australia, the UK, and the US to produce a common nuclear-powered attack submarine fleet that combines advanced components from the member countries. Greenroom Robotics’ technology is designed for automated situational awareness and pathfinding processes, according to the company’s COO and co-founder Harry Hubbert.
